The Men's Club of Congregation Tifereth Israel and the Brotherhood of Congregation Agudas Achim are co-sponsoring Jewish Community Day on Sunday, August 2, at Huntington Park. A Kosher Lunch will be served at 3 p.m. Kids will get to walk on field before the Columbus Clippers game. Our very own Cantor Jack Chomsky will sing the national anthem as the game begins at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $5. We need your donations to help keep ticket prices this low. Please donate $18 or whatever you can to The Men’s Club for this historic day. For more information and to donate, please contact Dale Levy at drlevy@ohioctvs.com .
The Men’s Club fosters activities and programming for its members, the rest of the congregation and the community. We also seek to promote understanding and awareness of our Jewish heritage among synagogue members and their children. Any male adult in a Tifereth Israel family is eligible for membership. We are “Guardians of the Land.” The Men's Club provides 100% renewable, soy-based Shabbat candles to our congregation. They are biodegradable, have lead-free wicks, recyclable metal tins, and are available in the gift shop.

April showers bring May activities
9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 3 -- Volunteers needed to help Men's Club with annual flower planting. Drop your kids off for Sunday school and stick around to help us dig in over 500 plants around CTI grounds (and then attend Cultural Arts Event music concert).
Complimentary bagels and beverages to volunteers. Please bring hand shovels.

February Men's Club schedule
February Brunch Series -- This Sunday, the 8th, our Brunch speaker will be Ken Schnake, general manager of the Columbus Clippers, who will talk about the Clippers move into the new ballpark. Brunch starts at 10:30.
Kosher Passover Wine Tasting Party -- Men's Club will be sponsoring a Kosher Passover Wine Tasting on March 15. The event will take place at the home of Carl & Susie Seletz. Information on time and cost is forthcoming. For more information, contact Dale Levy at drlevy@ohioctvs.com.
Purim Carnival -- The Purim Carnival will be Sunday, March 8th from 11:30 to 1:30. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Mike Sobul at Lsobul@wowway.com.
